I spend time to find out what you want to happen for you. Assessment takes place at a personal level. I want to know what you are trying to make happen for you in your life. What have you been trying that has not worked for you? All our work together will focus on the situation, your thoughts and your emotional reactions. I am like a consultant where we view the world from your point of view along how you feel about it. If you can recognize something that is helpful to do to make what you want happen, you are more likely to do it than if it does not make sense to you. That is what makes this rational therapy.
I practice Emotion Focused Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I was trained by John and Julie Gottman themselves and I have competed Level II training. We will be looking at your relationship from the Sound Relationship House undersanding. We begin with assessment. I want to understand what what is happening in your relationship. There are twenty two pages of assessment to go along with the three assessment interview. We want to take the time to find the strengths along with areas of improvement. Emotional connection is not the result of settling conflict in the relationship. Emotional connection results from re-attuning your relationship connection on many different levels.

Infidelity Treatment Information
Infidelity is the second most difficult relationship problem.
We have Level II, II-X and Level III. The information we provide is current and not an attempt to prove you are an alcoholic or a sick person. We want to help you avoid getting another DUI. For those of you who have gotten a second or third DUI, we have Tuesday and Thursday groups at 5:30PM making it convenient to attend after work. We use the same rational approach in all our work. We want to know what you would like to get out of this and what you are interested in for the future.
